BP wins "Maintainer of the Year"
Award
At the "Main Days 2007" event
held March 5-6 in Heidelberg, BP in Lingen was awarded
The Maintainer 2007 award.
The prize, sponsored
by DaimlerChrysler, Hydro Aluminum, Infracor and T.A.
Cook Consultants is awarded to those companies with
particularly innovative maintenance solutions.
BP Lingen was one of three finalists for the
award including DaimlerChrysler and Enforce ASFINAG and
was selected as the first place winner for its
integrated solution for comprehensive Turnaround
processes.
A complete turnaround of the Lingen
facility took place in September 2006 and was completed
on-time and on-budget. Volker Woyke, spokesman of the
Board of Management of BP Lingen, attributes some of
that success to the team spirit and motivation of all
employees of BP Lingen, and the contractors working on
the shutdown.

Controlling Access to Buttons
and Tabs in Impress for GIS ArcMap
GIS Administrators can easily limit access to buttons
and tabs based on user roles in ArcMap. For example,
administrators might want to prevent those without a
role of ieIafWorkspaceAdmin from accessing the 'Post to
SAP' button.
Click on the URL below to see code
for custGeoLogin.imap. There are several commands that
are commented out. By removing the comments, a GIS
administrator can disable toolbar buttons, tabs in asset
selection dialog, buttons in notification history and/or
buttons in order dialogs for users without role
ieIafWorkspaceAdmin.
Edit the code sample as
needed. Search on ieIafWorkspaceAdmin to find the
customizable code. When you have finished editing, save
it as custGeoLogin.imap. Use the Imap Administrator in
the Development Workbench to upload the imap.
